Sphynx Cat Scribble Canvas Print

Call it playful if you want; we call it better walls. A seated cat built from one long tangle of black scribble, sitting on plain off-white. Put it up and a flat wall suddenly has a bit of personality the lines read as movement from across the room, then settle into a cat as you get closer. It works at eye level in a hallway, above a desk in a study, or off to one side of a sofa where it can breathe. Keep the company simple: pale wood, black metal, linen, one or two plain ceramics. Don’t crowd it with busy patterned wallpaper or a run of other detailed drawings the scribble needs empty wall to do its job. As a canvas the soft weave takes the edge off the black line and gives it a hand-drawn feel.
