Warm Earth Bands Canvas Print

Think of it as Mark Rothko with less reverence and better instincts. Three wide bands off-white, warm clay, deep rust brown sit one above the other, softened by loose brush drag. Put it up and a plain room gains warmth without gaining noise; the colour reads as a mood rather than a picture, so the eye settles. Hang it above a sideboard, a low bench or one side of a bed, roughly at eye level. It sits happily with linen, tan leather, stoneware and pale wood.
