Sunlit Hilltop Village Art Print

We like illustrated villages best when they come with a little abrasion. The sketchy brushwork, the chalky pinks and the bright sky blue stop this from feeling like a postcard and start it feeling like a holiday memory you actually had. Hang it where the room could do with lifting: a kitchen with white walls, a hallway that gets afternoon sun, or a living room that leans neutral. It plays well with pale oak, linen, terracotta pots and painted timber. Skip it if the room is already very busy with pattern, or if your scheme runs cool grey and chrome the warm yellows and soft pinks will fight the cool tones rather than calm them.
