Roman Temple Square in Colour Art Print

By late afternoon, the cityscape stops looking decorative and starts working. The square comes up off the wall and pulls warmth into the room, even when the light dips. Hang it on a quiet painted wall warm white, soft pink or pale blue where the orange columns and yellow pediment can do the talking. It sits well above a sideboard in a kitchen, on a hallway wall near a bench, or in a kids’ room above low shelving. Keep the room around it fairly plain: pale wood, woven textures, simple ceramics. Skip anything that fights the colour busy florals, heavy gilt frames, or another loud illustration right next to it. One bright piece is enough.
