By late afternoon, the park scene stops looking decorative and starts working. The greens deepen, the mustard patches warm up, and the wall behind it feels considered rather than empty. Hang it where you actually sit: above a sofa, over a low sideboard, or on a study wall in front of a desk. It likes a chalky off-white or soft clay wall best. Around it, keep things plain and textural linen, dark wood, cane, a stoneware pot or two, a few real plants. What not to do: crowd it with busy pattern on the same wall, or hang it next to another strong green landscape. It carries the colour on its own. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang.
