Layered Peak in Rust and Slate Art Print

Think of it as Nicolas de Stal with less reverence and better instincts. The mountain is broken into thick ribbons of rust, slate blue, cream and soft lilac, with a peach sky sitting behind a white summit. Put it up and a flat wall gains depth without gaining noise the colour is warm but the blues keep it steady. It works above a sofa, at the end of a hallway, or on a study wall where you look up from a desk. Pair it with wool, warm leather, timber and plain stoneware. Don’t crowd it with other landscapes or busy patterned wallpaper; it needs a bit of clear wall either side. On fine-art paper the ridged brushwork stays crisp and matte.
