French Bulldog Scribble Canvas Print

Somewhere between a life-drawing class sketchbook and minimal line art, this dog portrait refuses to behave. It is one dog, hundreds of black pen lines, and nothing else competing for attention. Put it up and a flat white wall suddenly has a personality standing in it. The tangle reads as texture from across the room and as a proper drawing once you step close. It works at the end of a hallway, on a study wall above a desk, or low over a bench in an entryway. Keep the things around it simple: pale wood, painted furniture, black metal, plain ceramics. Skip busy florals or heavy pattern nearby, and don’t hang it next to another black-and-white animal sketch or the two will cancel each other out.
